Chapter 22-Error Code 12

At one time or another anyone who plays Sims 3 has seen this message come up when we are playing our games and we all cringe when it does. Why do we cringe?  It's because we know that all are unsaved game play is lost.  Usually I save every 15 minutes that I have been playing and I save when something happens that I don't want to lose (for example a toddler learning to walk or any completed ltw) so I do not lose much progress if this message pops up.  These messages usually does not hurt me but that was until now.  I heard on a you tube LP that you can use "Save As" instead of "Save" and that will override the Error Code 12.  I found out the hard way that not only it doesn't do that but it does more harm than good.  You see not only did I lose the progress but it erased the whole save file completely.  This might be the end for some people but not for me.  I know this game very well and I always back up my files. There is no way I'm going to play this challenge for 2 years and complete 1/3 of it just to lose everything.  I placed my last save file into the game.  In that file Jacqueline, Skylar, Raymond and Diana were still teens in the house.  Julia, Giana, Sabrina, Baylee, Santiago and Delilah were all children.  I didn't consider it cheating to move everyone to their current age at the time the game file was lost with Master Controller since I did the actual game play.  The teens were all aged up and moved out of the house and the children were aged into teens. Before I lost my game Julia and Giana had only 2 days before they aged into young adults and the quads had 13 days so I moved them all to that age.

At this point the town was glitching and the kids didn't have to attend school on Mondays for some strange reason, the school bus wasn't picking the kids up, no more graduation and who can forget Raven's walking underground with newborn infants so I knew it was time to just play quickly and move onto Riverview.

The last thing I did before I lost the town was have the last gift giving party in town.  Which I will share those pictures now.

Mac decided he wanted a sketch of Lacey instead of a opening a gift.  Maybe he knew Santa was going to give him a lump of coal.  However this is where we tried to save and lost everything.  I probably should have waited for everyone to leave before saving maybe that was the cause of the Error Code 12.  Well all is not lost anyway.

We are going from gift giving day back to summer.  Buzby the parakeet has been giving a second chance at life again.  Whoever said cats had nine lives never met Buzby the parakeet. We did adopt Lulu the dog again so both pets will be moving to Riverview.

Mac loves relaxing in these mud baths but does he realize that every time he does he is adding ages to his already immortal life.

The real reason Raven and Mac are cheering is because it's time for another birthday.  This time it's Julia and Giana.

And we have another one who is well endowed.  I didn't even realize it until I saw this picture.

With two genies in the house and a fridge full of leftovers someone always decides to cook something.  Well at least Delilah is increasing her cooking skills.

Cinnamon Buns does sound like a good breakfast too.

Santiago is lighting some fireworks at the festival.  Lets go to map view to watch.

Uh Oh What is happening to Sabrina?

This does not look too good at all.

And I don't think she liked it very much.  Luckily she is not a male so she isn't pregnant.  Isn't Mac lucky that it wasn't him that was abducted.  I wonder if that will happen some day.

Delilah came home after curfew and Mac doesn't seem to happy about it.  She was his target out of this set and it must have delighted him to ground her.  Mac really is a mean one.

Sculpting was a bad choice for Mac.  Every time he gets that chainsaw in his hands he does that evil laugh.  Mac and a chainsaw is not a good combination.

It might be a better idea to have him study martial arts as that will teach him some discipline.

I was actually trying to get Raven to complete the all guitar skill challenges but she has seemed to complete the painting ones on her own.  1 down many more to go.

Usually I wouldn't argue with this as it is true but I won't stand for Mac being falsely accused.  He hasn't been fighting with anyone as of recent so I sent him to sue for slander.

And of course no one believed he was innocent so I sent him again.

And this time he won.

OMG how wrong is this want that Delilah just rolled?  She is a teen who wants to skinny dip with her adult brother who just grounded her.  I never really play with the inappropriate trait but maybe that is what made that one come up?  No matter what that is just plain wrong!

4 birthday cakes means it is time for the quads to celebrate their birthdays. Hopefully all will get to blow out their candles and the house won't be set on fire. I think I will either get Raven or Mac the fireproof home ltr so I never have to worry about a birthday cake fire ever again.

Sabrina is first and sadly I didn't get a good picture of her blowing out the candles.

Oh Wow he didn't age up too badly.  He kept the hair I put him in and his outfit isn't too hideous.

Last but certainly not least Delilah

Not bad she aged up in a full outfit that I actually like.  I'll just change the color of the pants to match the shirt and her everyday is fine.

And that is all 4 of them aged up without any problems.  This makes 34 babies all aged up successfully into young adults so now its time to move on.

I had Raven flirt a bit with Geoffrey Landgraab as I got the bright idea of moving Raven already pregnant but

Whatever that thing on her hand was gave me second thoughts.  I reset Raven and it was gone but I decided not to take any chances.  

Well since we are moving I decided to make some Riverview changes.  In Riverview we are going to make all IF's from the children real and use them as potential baby daddies for Raven. This is probably a mistake and will bloat the file faster but I'll just move when it gets too glitchy.  I want to add new stuff in every once in a while to keep things from getting boring.
